Our Story

Sacred Circle isn’t just a farm, an apothecary, or a brand—it’s a regenerative movement born from the desire to create something lasting, something deeply rooted in nature and community. It’s a vision that stretches into the future for the next seven generations and beyond.

Ben and Jack, the stewards of Sacred Circle, didn’t grow up together, but fate brought them to the same place with a shared mission. Hailing from the same hometown downstate, their paths didn’t cross until they both found their way to Northern Michigan, drawn by different means but guided by a similar calling: to reclaim sovereignty over food, health, and community.

Ben, a decentralized medicine practitioner, CHEK professional, and dedicated farmer, had already planted the seeds of Sacred Circle with his online apothecary business and regenerative homesteading efforts on his 10-acre parcel in Autumn Mist—a former 80-acre farm surrounded by pristine state forest. Jack, a regenerative strategist and farmer, arrived soon after with his wife Madison, purchasing an adjacent 5-acre parcel, building a home and establishing pasture with plans to implement holistic grazing practices to regenerate the land.

From the moment Ben and Jack met, Sacred Circle began to take shape—an evolving, regenerative agrihood, where a network of homesteads cooperatively cultivate the land, creating extraordinary products and experiences for a member-driven and thriving community.

Community is at the heart of Sacred Circle because true regeneration isn’t just about the land—it’s about people coming together with shared values, supporting one another, and forging deep, interdependent relationships that foster resilience. In a world increasingly disconnected, Sacred Circle is a space for reconnection—where knowledge, food, and wellness are stewarded collectively for the benefit of all. We believe that by weaving together shared work, meals, and traditions, we not only regenerate the land but also the fabric of human connection—something deeply missing in modern life.

Together, they are developing a multi-faceted landscape of abundance. Ben’s 55 laying hens will soon be moved from their static coop into a mobile egg system, allowing them to regenerate the land as they move daily. Jack and Madison have launched a rabbit breeding program, with plans to integrate rabbit tractors for soil-building and nutrient cycling. And this is only the beginning. Sacred Circle is expanding to include sheep, turkeys, cattle, and forest-raised pigs, all managed through holistic systems that heal the land while providing nourishing food.

But Sacred Circle is more than just livestock and soil restoration—it’s a space where people can reconnect to nature and themselves. Picture the scent of wood smoke curling from a live-fire kitchen, the grounding sensation of bare feet on a dew-kissed sensory trail, the contrast of heat and ice as you move from sauna to cold plunge under a sky full of stars. Plans are underway to create member-only amenities and shared spaces designed to facilitate deep healing and regenerative living. This includes a sauna, cold plunge, natural living pool, outdoor gym, live-fire cooking and event space, edible sensory trails with mindfulness cues, and eco-stays that immerse guests in decentralized health and nature-based resilience.

Our journey is just beginning, but our roots are growing strong. Sacred Circle is a movement, a gathering place, and a beacon for those seeking a regenerative future. Whether through nourishing food, holistic wellness, or shared wisdom, we invite you to join us—as a supporter, a visitor, or a member—as we build something sacred—together.
